Very early in her life Frauke Menger discovered her passion for pictures and drawing. She got intensely engaged into different styles of drawing, photography and picture stories. Already as a teenager she designed logos and labels for wine bottles. Frauke Menger has always been interested in experimenting with new and classical techniques, developing concepts and ideas and seeking the challenge to transfer them innovatively. She has especially learned from and got inspired from the encounter with people and their lives.
Studies at Wiesbaden
Frauke Menger studied communications design at the college in Wiesbaden with the major field of illustration and storyboard at Prof. Gregor Krisztian. Already during her time at college she was giving drawing courses in portraiture within Germany and abroad. In addition to that she was working as a freelancer in several advertising agencies. In 1995 she finished her studies as one of the best in her year with a diploma in design.

Working professionally with SandArt
In the meantime Frauke Menger has enlarged her repertoire with the SandArt stage show. Her experience in storyboard drawing and working as an international show artist come together in a fascinating way.
Until today she has had more than 150 individual and self-designed shows and has been on TV eight times.
It takes her about four weeks of briefing, ideation, concept development, storyboard drawing, music cut etc. until she has prepared a live stage show. She manages to combine arts and facts in an emotional and enthusiastic way. Each staging is individually produced for being connected to a certain subject, to a company or a special event. Her stage performances in front of an audience up to 5000 people have already excited customers such as:
